We show the entire production flow live — in 15 minutes. Feel free to bring one of your bills of materials or recipes.
Production in CloudOffice®
From Excel and whiteboards to full control of your production — we set everything up for you
CloudOffice® gives smaller manufacturers real production management: bills of materials, production orders, planning and post-calculation — in the same system as your inventory, the EDI flow to the retail chains and Fortnox. You focus on manufacturing; we take care of the setup.
✓ Bills of materials/recipes (BOM) with versions — we enter yours for you
✓ Production orders with automatic inventory impact and traceability
✓ Material requirements planning — see shortages before they stop production
✓ Actual cost per order (post-calculation) — no side calculations in Excel
✓ Inventory, EDI to ICA/Dagab/COOP and Fortnox integration included in the same system

Manufacturing companies already run their production in CloudOffice
CloudOffice® runs on servers in the EU (Germany and Finland) with an infrastructure provider certified to ISO/IEC 27001. All production data — databases, files and backups — is stored within the EU and never leaves the Union. CloudOffice AB is a Swedish limited company, which means both your contracting party and its supervision are in Sweden.

THE PROBLEM
Your production is growing — but the planning lives in Excel
Traditional MPS and ERP systems solve this — but require months of implementation and a price tag built for large-scale industry. CloudOffice is built for manufacturers with 5–50 employees.
Planning on whiteboards and in spreadsheets.
Who makes what, when, and from which material? The answer lives in the production manager’s head — and disappears with their holiday.
Material shortages are discovered too late
Without a link between the production plan, stock levels and purchasing, orders are stopped because a single component is missing
Nobody knows what an order actually costs
Quotes are built on gut feeling. Without post-calculation you don’t know which products you make money on — and which you lose money on.
Traceability is no longer optional
Retail chains, wholesalers and auditors want to know exactly which batches went into which delivery — and for food producers, traceability in manufacturing is a direct requirement from the Swedish Food Agency (Livsmedelsverket). Searching through binders takes days.

In CloudOffice
Step
Customer order
What happens
The order comes in — manually, via web shop or EDI
In CloudOffice
A sales order is created, stock levels are checked
Step
Production order
What happens
Manufacturing is planned against the order or stock level
In CloudOffice
Material is reserved according to the bill of materials
Step
Material requirements
What happens
The system calculates what is missing
In CloudOffice
Purchase proposals are created directly from the requirement
Step
Manufacturing
What happens
Operations are performed step by step
In CloudOffice
Material issues and stage status are registered — including with a scanner
Step
Finished product
What happens
The manufactured product goes into stock directly from production — no separate goods receipt step
In CloudOffice
The batch number is set at manufacturing, stock is updated; if needed, the goods are moved to the sales warehouse with a stock transfer
Step
Delivery & invoice
What happens
The goods are delivered — to a customer or a chain via EDI
In CloudOffice
Delivery note, DESADV, invoice and data for Fortnox
Step
Post-calculation
What happens
The order is closed
In CloudOffice
Planned cost is compared with actual — per order
The solution
A complete production flow — from customer order to post-calculation
CloudOffice® handles the entire chain in one system. Every step automatically updates inventory, accounting data and traceability.
Key features
Bills of materials & recipes (BOM)
Materials, components, quantities and operations in multiple levels — semi-finished goods that feed into the next step. Our customers run structures up to 7 levels deep in live operation. Multiple versions per item, copies as templates for variants.
Production orders
Create manually, from a customer order or against stock level. Reserved material, clear status, automatic inventory impact.
Operations & stages
Split manufacturing into steps and follow where every order is — from preparation to finished product.
Production planning
See what should be manufactured, when and with which material. Plan against customer orders and stock levels.
Material requirements (MRP)
The system calculates what is missing and proposes purchase orders — before the shortage stops production.
Post-calculation
Planned cost versus actual, per production order. Know what each product actually costs to manufacture.
Traceability in both directions
Which raw material batches went into which manufactured batch? Where did the delivery end up? Answers in minutes
Scanning in production
Material issues, goods receipt and stocktaking with a barcode scanner or the mobile app — right on the floor.
Labels & GS1
Print product and pallet labels with batch numbers, best-before dates and GS1 barcodes/SSCC
Built-in warehouse (WMS)
Multiple warehouses, picking, stocktaking and delivery notes — no separate warehouse system needed
EDI to the retail chains
Deliver directly to ICA, Dagab, COOP and more — production batches follow all the way into the DESADV
Fortnox integration
Your bookkeeping stays in Fortnox — invoices and accounting data are transferred automatically
We set up your production for you — you don’t need to be system experts
Setup included
We enter your items, bills of materials and recipes, configure flows and labels, and train your team. You arrive at a finished system — not an empty one.
Adapted to your flow
We don’t build a standard solution you have to adapt to. Simple assembly or multi-stage production where semi-finished goods pass through several processing steps — with coordinated planning of purchasing, manufacturing, sales and stock transfers. The system is configured to how you actually manufacture.
If it doesn’t exist — we build it
Missing a report, a label or an integration? We develop it. CloudOffice is developed in Sweden, close to our customers.

How it works
Food producers
Recipes with versions, batch numbers and best-before dates in every step, full traceability from raw material to store shelf. HACCP-friendly documentation — and EDI directly to ICA, Dagab and COOP when you’re ready for the chains.
Key benefits:
-
recipe management
-
batch & expiry dates
-
traceability for recalls
-
EDI to grocery retail
Assembly & kitting
Multi-level bills of materials, component shortages visible before they stop the line, serial numbers on finished products. Pick lists and scanning mean even new staff assemble correctly.
Key benefits:
-
multi-level BOM
-
serial numbers
-
purchase proposals from requirements
-
scanning on the floor
Make-to-order manufacturing
Create production orders directly from the customer order, with material reserved and delivery dates linked to the sales promise. Post-calculation per order shows whether the deal was profitable — before you quote the next one.
Key benefits:
-
order-to-production in one click
-
post-calculation per order
-
accurate quotes
-
delivery promises that hold
Contract manufacturers
Handle multiple principals’ items and specifications in the same system, with separate price lists and labelling per customer. Full traceability and documentation your principals can rely on.
-
